In relation to the news that has appeared in the press in recent days, U.S. Triestina Calcio 1918 intends to clarify the following.

The new owners declare that they are completely unrelated to the management and conduct of the previous company leadership.

Within 3 weeks of taking over the Board of Triestina and removing its President both the CEO and the General Manager were terminated.

The current ownership group has instructed its lawyers to clarify before the Public Prosecutor's Office its complete lack of involvement in the events, which may be attributable to previous management. 

The acquisition of LBK Capital was carried out as the quickest and most effective solution to enable the immediate implementation of a  debt restructuring plan and to keep its players being paid on time. 

Particular attention is being paid to the debt owed to the Municipality of Trieste, which represents a central and strategic step in returning the Club to an ambitious, solid, and stable management model.

The owners are fully aware of the city's expectations and the passion of the fans and invite them to have faith and patience during this rebuilding phase.

With everyone's contribution, the results of the work that has been started will soon be shared and represent a new starting point for the future of Triestina.
